Trading Trends for Sophistication
Even someone with minimal fashion knowledge knows that the womens fashion industry is full of trends. And while some of these trends are acceptable and cute in the day, they can lead us to look back on photographs and wonder what the heck we were thinking. That’s why people are on the lookout for fashion accessories that won’t go out of style. One of the best ways to go about this is to find items that are flattering on you. After all, enduring fashion is invariably fashion that makes women look better.
That’s why so many classic fashion items are black. Black is a slimming color whether it’s used for blouses or slacks. It helps create a long, lean, unbroken line of the body, and that creates the illusion of height and slimness. And one of the best things about black is that it takes a lot of the guesswork out for women. That is to say, you can wear all black and rather than looking overdone or lazy, you’ll look very chic.
I Finally Found Her
Many guys lament having a girlfriend or significant other because it often detracts from the time typically devoted to sports, videogames and other stereotypical male pastimes. When I was single, I promised myself that I would never be one of those guys who sacrifices all aspects of their personal life for a woman-and I kept that oath. But it did force me to stay single until I was 47.
It definitely took a while, but I’ve finally found that perfect woman. She is the perfect juxtaposition of all the qualities I’ve been looking for in a significant other. On weekends she dons a womens football jersey and we spend hours on end watching sports and eating junk food on the couch. Not only that, but she never complains when my friends come over or harps on me to do any sort of work around the house.
Fashionable Garb for the Casual Football Fan
At long last, it’s an exciting time to be a sports fan in Philadelphia. If you had told me just two years ago that the Phillies would be competing for their second straight World Series title and the Eagles would be tops in their division, I would have called you crazy. As always, the hardest part about this sudden rash of success has been finding time to follow my beloved teams. Last week I had to balance work and Halloween parties with my rabid fandom.
My girlfriend cannot be persuaded to watch baseball, and frankly I can’t blame her. It’s a slow game that can only truly be appreciated by someone who follows the sport for most of the year. She’s much more engrossed with the Eagles, though. Their season is only 16 games long, and every matchup matters. She even wears her green and white womens football jersey to home games at Lincoln Financial Field.
