Summer is the season for dresses, spaghetti straps and other light garments that showoff a little more skin. But there’s nothing more unattractive then dingy white bra straps showing from underneath your womens tank tops. Brown bra straps that were once white is about as gross as chipped red nail polish on dirty, bitten fingernails. So if you’re into that look, don’t worry about reading any further. But if you prefer things on the cleaner side, here’s what you need to do to keep those bras sparkling:

1.) Make sure the bra’s hooks are fastened before you start washing. This way they won’t snag on any other clothes.
2.) Use cool water and mild detergent for delicate fabrics.
3.) If you choose to machine wash, place your bra in a lingerie bag.
4.) Select the delicate cycle using cool water on your washing machine.
5.) Air dry bra after washing.
